تأسس في عام 1995 ويهدف الى تخريج ملاكات تقنية متخصصة في صحة البيئة والسلامة المهنية والتفتيش والرقابة الصحية والمسح الصحي والبيئي، وتنفيذ برامج الرعاية الصحية الأولية والقيام بحملات التوعية.

Vision of department:

The department was established in 1994 for the purpose of preparing a graduate to work in the field of public health, occupational health, health lows and supervision and control of communicable diseases by studying the occupational health environment problems of community and working on preparing the necessary plans to reach methods of prevention and control over them.

Department message:

Provide a specialized cadre to work in health and medical centers in the field of community health to serve the citizen and improve the community in health and medical terms.

Goals of department:

The department aims to graduate technical cadres in environment health, occupational health, health lows and supervision and health survey to implement primary health care programs and carry out health awareness campaigns andoperate care for special equipment.

المهمات والواجبات المناطة بخريجي القسـم:

أ-يعنى الخريج بأمور الصحة العامة والسلامة المهنية وصحة البيئة والتفتيش والرقابة الصحية ، والسيطرة على الامراض الانتقالية عبر دراسة المشاكل البيئية والصحية في المجتمع والمشاركة في اعداد الخطط الكفيلة للوقاية من هذه المشاكل والسيطرة عليها.

ب-يعمل على تنفيذ برامج الرعاية الصحية الأولية

ج-يضطلع الخريج بأعمال المسح البيئي والصحي ليتسنى له المباشرة بالإجراءات الوقائية الصحية .

د-القيام بتشغيل الأجهزة المستخدمة في عمليات المسح الصحي والبيئي والمجالات الاخرى الخاصة بامور الوقاية الصحية والعناية بها.
